So, what you are saying is the union steward was doing his job according to the rules of the contract so he is justified for scolding the man for helping me because of the contract right? Yes I signed an agreement which states that you must hire union labor if your display takes more than one person more than 15 minuets to set up.I have turned down help so they would not get in trouble. But sometimes when a man sees a lady in distress he can not contain himself and rushes over to lend a hand, human being to human being, and you say I am wrong for not seeing why I should turn the friendly hand down, run over to the union office and sign a contract to pay them to stand around and lift one or two boxes around in a 10'x10 area?
