I am wanting to accomplish two things. First I would like to take the local digital channels (sdtv and possible hdtv) and pass them through the system to our customers. I would like to send them on the "basic" tier so the cust. will not need a dig set top If they have a digital tv. I would also like to offer the chance to customers that do not have a digital tv but do have a digital set top from us.
Second I would like to receive the digital channels available via off air and convert them to analog for the customers that do not subscribe to set top boxes or own digital tv's.
Any suggestions on equipment and set up would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
