personally dont travel across the country to work 40 hours and sit in a motel for the rest. I worked for a company not to long ago and they tried to make me work only 40 hours, I wrote down 40 but worked 60 plus. I dont worry about the small stuff, just pay me a decent ftg rate and I could care less what the LAW says.
Lets see I can make on a good weekend from 1000 to 1500 at a decent ftg rate, thats from sunup to sundown. now why would I whine and have them shut me down. Shoot I try to stay away from the trunk just to keep the heat off. If your on a job that pays you such a crappy rate that you have to make an issue of peice rate and a half then I advise you to find another project.
