The overtime applies to W-2 piece work, NOT 1099 relationships. Personally I would never run a crew paying them as employees, you would go broke!!!!!!!!!!!! This is just another example of lazy people who want more for nothing. Many, if not most laws are designed to separate you from your money and put it in some one else's pocket. Primes pay by piece rate because they are paid that way. One flat piece rate per task performed. cablecrew10 is right. The only way to pay your W-2 based people on an overtime piece rate system would be to CUT your rates!
