1. I'm a contractor paying all his own expenses.
2. I am a sub who works for a prime that takes excellent care of their people, providing we supply a good work product and keep to the scope of work.
3. I average 35+ installs a week doing primarily data and telecomm. Thats what our contract is for.
4. If you read under my name you have the general location I work in. And the median price of a home in my area is $449.900
Median income is 89k and I don't limit my work to installs as I have a sucessful side business doing network support,etc.
And yes there is alot more duckets to be made doing commercial Voice over to business, especially when your shot-gunning modems for multiple phone lines in one place, and don't have to touch the cx's network system and just do telecomm.
I'm not that special, just somebody who knows what he's doing and makes sure the job is done right the first time around so my prime doesn't get their asses chewed by the MSO.
