So you make decent money, money I wouldn't walk away from.
Let me ask you what makes you so special.
1.) Are you an employee or a contractor paying all expenses?
2.) Are you a sub for a prime, or a direct contractor to an MSO?
3.) How many calls a week do you do? 50-75?
4.) What part of the contry are you from and what is the median price of a home where you live?
If you're an employee with an average gross salary of $75000 and only work 60 hours a week, congratulations. That's a good gig rain or shine. You've made it.
But I've seen plenty of guys flash big checks around the bar, doesn't mean that money didn't cost them.
Installers here make "up to$800" for a 6 day week, and they're not stupid, or lazy.
Median price of a starter home is around 250K
P.S. Theres more money in commercial/industrial work.
