Re: Journeyman Electrician Certification

I am one of those people who has switched from Line voltage to Low voltage. I have been in the electrical field since forever graduated a tech school electronics ... been through a apprentice program.... and a lot of college edu. I tryed to take the electricians exam for Georgia in 2003 and was told that they could not verify my employment( which was mostly out of local union #3 New York ) being overworkd and underpayed outside of the union in Georgia. I went full ahead with the low voltage training that i had gotten, took the exam in nov2005 ( card LV-T) and here I am. trying my hardest to advance as a telecomm business owner. I named my business C Dr. Electric cause that is still where my heart lays... I still find myself quoting the National electrcial code... but now I study BiCSi regularly. My electrical training has definitely aided in making me a better tech.... but I know a lot of electricians who can never make the cut. Sometimes when along side some of you real tech I feel like a fool and question my own goals...BUT I AM DAMN GOOD IN THIS FIELD AND NOT GIVING IT UP.
