looking for advice

I have been in the low-voltage contracting business for 15 years. I am 46 and am thinking of getting in the cable business as an installer/service person. In my current line of work, we pre-wire and finish phone, cable, network, CCTV, custom audio, intercom, in new and existing homes and small commercial buildings. I have installed direct tv several times before. my question is, would it be hard for me to learn your business ? Any advice would greatly be appreciated.
