I have one cmts with four ports,3 nodes return to separate ports with the majority of the subs and noise coming into one port.I admit that the noise is an issue speeds improve if I can keep it at -30 but we simply dont have the time to work on it while were doing so many other upgrades. I only get to work on it to put out fires. I see I have alot to learn yet and its basically up to me to recommend possible options and upgrades within of course a budget.I have two more nodes to place in this system to help with isolating problems, cut down cascades and give a small amount of relief to port one,but in Jan will be adding two more remote systems to the cmts with a potential of several hundred more modems. I'm trying to figure out how best to serve everyone and still keep it profitable,I dunno its starting to give me a headache!
