Thanks Mike, I dont let talks like this get me down. Funny you mentioned the word ill informed. As I said earilier sumahit left out some importaat info about the boeing lay-off. The fact is the workers got 60 day notices in October. October 12 to be exact, they had an off payroll date of december 14. So yes, they were laid of before xmas, which sucks big time, but at least they had a union contract that required the company to give 60 day notice on lay-offs. Now I wonder if they would have gotten a 2 month notice if they had no union. I wonder if they would have got those pink slips and lay off notice on the same day, Dec 14. like those non union workers at Metron. But I bet some people think in both these situations the unions are to blame.
