Re: Feelings on Union

Trey, don't let yhe ill informed get ya' down!! We're talkin' about a service here not some gadget produced in china or some production line soldering job. This is a trade in a multi-billion dollar industry where your truck, tools, experience and multiple expences, provided by you, is lining some other sobs pocket for chump change. Unions?!! If that's the only way to slap 'em up side the head, well, so be it!!! Obviously, by all the negative posts i've seen on this bar, something needs to be done and it won't be done by the HSP's MSP's Primes Or anyone profitting off your efforts. supply and demand still rules! If you want the sraight dope on Unions, talk to the old timers about how things used to be without them in any industry, especially elect/telephone etc. Profit rules on management side and if it means suckin' you dry and leaving you and your family without a pot to piss in when the work goes away, too bad. these over paid managers will have theirs or at least a whole lot more than you. What they "managed, was to get you to provide the expertese, tools trucks gas ,you name it, to line their pockets and prepare themselves for the next venture, which, guess what, does'nt include you. It's reality, pal!!! without leverage, you'll take what they're givin' and pretend to like it!! Lot's more to say, but, seems to be more sheep than pioneers and or rightous individuals anymore. Individuals ,out for themselves, and the heck with anyone else!!! Management counts on it! So, toss your nay sayers another slice of watermelon and move on!!! Later Mike M.
