let's not misinform all the way.
metron didn't get laid off they closed the doors. which can and did happen to companies with unions.
and who blamed the union for the lay off?
if you want to be union trey then be union and by god, be proud.
but as you know this ain't the 1920'sor the 50's or whatever time that unions were strong and needed. this is a new age and like it or not the unions aren't what they use to be.
and as far as carring only about ourselves, well i can remember in this past month 18 of my guy'swere willing to lay down routes for the cause.
and yes they were all contractors too.they stood to loose quite a bit, but they stood beside each other and with out a union.
