Storm Work

Be carefull when doing storm damage on units. I was one of the prime contractors for Adelphia cable on the Hurricane Andrews rebuild, back in the 90's. This storm, as Andrews , is a national disaster. All work should be perform on hours- not units. The cable companies will be collecting insurance so they are not worried about lost revenue, but they will want you to work for regular unit rates. Just remember when you get there-no gas, water, ATM, Banks, electric, food, motels in the area, you got to drive a long distant or take a tent.
Material shortages, poor planning, prints, waiting on electrical crews, etc, etc. These all factor into your pay scale. Don't work for nothing !! Even with a fair rate, you'll have trouble getting production. Best of Luck-Take Care.
