now this is not an ad for work but the prices i see makes me wonder how anyone can survive. when i was working the usual rates per hour were $65 hr linesman $35 hr truck $15 hr reel trailer $25 hr ground hand. that was only a couple of years ago and had nothing to do with storm damage. piece work varied but a couple of prices were $95 to splice amp $65 splice le $25 per tap. .20 ft strand .35 ft coax and it goes on. these prices are only about 3 years old and as far as i can tell if i were to come out of retirement i would cost me money to work. sorry this is a little long but people have to understand that we do this to make money not to be nice guys. by the way i'm only 46 and have been retired for about 2 years . stay safe out there and make money
