I do a lot of work for people who have had two and three "cable techs" in there house. Mostly ingress problems wich where solved by running new wire and or changing fittings. For the most part the mso in my area does not flinch. Other than the occasional call from a sub that questions why I could fix the problem and three or four of there tchs couldnt, Ive had nothing but positive success. Just make sure your liability insurance is paid up and dont even kid about free HBO. Good luck.
