Did the legal costs outweigh the gains, is it worth prosecuting someone for a fine if the MSO has to pay lawyers. I have changed out tap plates for broken ports, returned & had to change them again because of theft.
I know this is a CLI (leakage) issue. Once while doing CLI we found some terminators that had been drilled out with the centerconductors of the drops feeding thru the terminators to the tap. The prime in the system had some people making xtra $ doing thier own thing.
The Police/FBI got involved & it made the local news, People I knew & worked with being led away in handcuffs.
