Re: Hard turns on ground wire

Here is the simple and the short version, When you bend the ground wire the electrical properties do not change that much for the standard house voltages we deal with. but when it comes to lightning and High voltage when you are trying to provide grounding protection, the voltage is so high and travels so fast that it will not make the tight turns of your ground wire and will jump off or ark to another source of ground. It can even burn the ground wire in two then you have no protection.
