I,ve been talking to a few cats about home automation. Dealing with security systems, intercom, fire, DVR's, access control systems, CCTV, and biometric systems.This is a fast growing buisness and from what I hear, it just about doubles ALL cable and sat. pay along with super benefits. I'm just wondering if any of you out there has had any dealings with this industry? Since 7 yrs ago, this is the worst year I have seen with the cable industry, later part that is. I believe that it's time to get out to bigger and better things.I've talked to several of the companies in the security field, and they're looking for people that can pull or fish a wire anyplace. Imagine, company paid insurance, hourly starting $15 with little exp.,and $18 with, paid travel expenses, and unreal quarterly and yearly bonuses. Sounds too unreal to me, but a buddy of mine started about a month ago and he said that I'd be stupid not to switch.I guess I'll give it a shot, can't be worse than what I'm doing now. Anybody have any info. or exp. in this field please share. I really would appreciate it.
