Re: career change? heres a lead

you know the trucking industry is over 40 % understaffed.
every trucking company in our country is begging for drivers,
its warm in the winter, cool in the summer. you set your own hours, sit on your a$$ most of the day. home more often than contracting cable. and you never have to climb a pole, and a motivated driver can turn 12 to 1500 a week. provided you want to get out of the truck and unload a few trailers a week.
now yes there are as many bad points, but if you haul a load i bet most companies will pay you for it without backcharging you for the candy wrapper in the floor. or the dent in the hood, etc etc. i know several guys driving now, yes they whine but comparing the problems, maybe that is an option for some folks.
i ponder the thought now and then. i know before ill do installs 3 states away in my own truck 6 day a week 14 hours a day for about the same money and a whole lot of chit youll see me bookin down the highway, comon driver can i get a heal ya. hehe gl guys(idea)
