Dont get me wrong guys, all of this no pay in this industry is wrong and needs to stop NOW. But there is a difference in someone who just flat dont pay and someone who has been hit by something unforeseeable- who isnt running or hiding from you. If they are staying in contact with you and letting you know whats going on, they more than likely are going to pay. If they just dissapeared, no phone calls no nothing, then yes they are scum. But its not right to be buddy, buddy with someone when things are going good and then the 1st sign of a little trouble, legitmate trouble, then all of a sudden they are scum. That just aint right. Give the folks a chance to make things right. If they dont, then take it to them!!
AND maybe you should have prepared for this. Is that not what you are saying in a sense? If you had put back enough money yourself when things werre going "good", maybe you would have been prepared for this.
