um, dude, I have enough ,money put back to hold me over for months without work. so that's not a problem, I keep my expenses under control, my house is paid for, all my vehicles are paid for and I have no bills aside from my monthly utilities. and I still am fighting with an old company that has owed me my last paycheck and retainage. from the sound of it, you are not prepared for such a hit, which is what you are ragging us for. it also sounds like you are floating your payroll till you got paid, not a good way to run a company, no matter how big or small.
