Regarding the remainder of this posting expressing your concerns over the war we are presently involved in, we can go on and on, back and forth over this. What qualifies a weapon to be capable of mass destruction? How many people does it have to kill?
Your side kicks out a story that several hundred tons of explosives are missing. Our side responds with, "they were missing when we got there." Your side says "BS --- we have video tape from a news station in Minnesota that had imbedded reporters right there!"
Our side talks to these reporters and they say, " well, we're not sure it was the stuff you guys are talking about, but it was somewhere right there by Al Qaqaa." Then along comes a Seargent from some unit and says, "Hey! Whats all the fuss? We blew that sh*t up right after we got there."
Here it is in a nutshell Mr. Slasher.
We are at war. We are at war with an unknown enemy. Is it unconventional? Absolutely. What is our plan? Take out any terrorists we can put our laser sights on and completely destroy any and all individuals, Governments, or Country's that support terrorism. Why? Because they attacked the greatest nation on the face of the Earth. Where? Wherever it has to be. How? Thats classified, we could tell you, but then we would have to k.......

I know you dont want to hear this, but there was an administration in office for 8 years that did absolutely nothing with intel regarding the buildup of these factions. It is a matter of record. The fact is, it really doesnt matter. We were sucker punched by a group of thugs. There is a man at the helm that has delivered what he said he would. He has stood in the face of adversity and done things that, God only knows, had to be the most difficult decision making any man should have to face.
Reversing all this and taking another stance, where do you think we would be if our President did nothing? Lets say he took a passive position and let the UN keep up their meaningless efforts. Maybe rattled his sabre once or twice by striking a few radar facilities and maybe an aspirin factory here and there.
Then one morning we wake up to hear Peter Jennings has been up all night reporting on a sarin gas attack on "anytown USA".
Oh My God! How could this happen? Then, through congressional investigations found out that the sarin gas came from Sadaam Hussein. Uh-oh. And this administration knew he had it! WOW!
IMPEACH THE BASTARD!
The scenario is one that is quite possibly what may have happened were our President to have done nothing. It is very likely to have happened had John Kerry been President when all this stuff started, based on his "plan".
