Re: The Good Ole Days

Man I hear ya brother, I started in 79'' too and I'm 43 years old. Started right out of high school. I remember my first day on my hooks like it was yesterday, tryin to pass that lasher around the pole while holding on for dear life with my other hand,LOL. All the while all the old schoolers laughin and pullin on my hand line telling me to "trust the belt rookie" .That took a while but it came with experiance. We all worked together, drank together and fought together like we were brothers. I started for T.C.I. in Northwestern Pa. and we built the first system in Darlington Pa. and you're right about being heroes too, the townfolk would buy our lunches and sometimes would even bring us food and cold drinks while we were workin on their streets. I miss those days, Thanks for reminding me what it was like, I'm in a good mood right now. Thanks Whitfield!!
