I'm not a fiber guy either, but as I understand it - that little bit (in fiber numbers) would not affect signal enough to worry about.

I would check with the designer of the system you are installing or whoever the tech will be that sets it up.
you need to have enough wisdom to keep from making the wrong decisions but enough courage to make the right ones
