As stated above if it's single mode and you're fusion splicing
and keeping your loss's to less than a .05(try for a .03 )
a 1000ft. more want matter. Check with the cable co's fiber
designer and see what his fiber loss budget is for this run, if it's
muiltimode all bets are off.
