I am a Directv installer and I occasionally get a work order for an apartment.
The Basic Installation Directv offers usually will not work in an apartment setting. The list of reasons is long. Also, CATV stands for Community Antenna
Television----this is where cable TV was designed to work.
I would love to work a deal with an apartment owner to install one dish on the roof. run one dual cable into the cable room and hang enough multiswitches to serve the building.
But I bet the cable guys have some insights into this one.
How about it cable guys?.........
