gregday, Yes for what you said, but you must remember that we must hit the CMTS with 0 dBmV. I do not agree to maximum gain of the return amplifier, you must hit all the return INPUT box between 15 to 20 dBmV for a bandwidth of 5 to 40 MHz. You then must equalized and get the proper gain at the amplifier you are at then to hit the next one at 15 to 20 dBmV. That what is call unity GAIN.
