I agree with you concerning the lack of ability to determine who is placing the employment ads. I can access the email address by clicking on the space provided because I have a paid account, however, email addresses are a dime a dozen and that still does not give you much information. If you look at the free ads the first thing you see is "Ad placed by" and their Cabl bar name. I believe that the paid ads should also show this information as this site has become a great place to find information concerning the reputation of contractors in this day and age of the fly by night low bidders. I have rarely replied to ads for employment but have experienced the no reply situation you found yourself in and yes I believe that it is probably best that you never heard back from that company. Just my opinion.
