victor, I have to disagree, I have a craftsman 16.8 volt that I bought 4 years ago, when I was delivering appliances for sears, used it for 6 months to remove doors to get the fridges in the houses, I then went to cable, and am STILL using that same drill, as well as the SAME BATTERIES! only needed an electric drill 3 times I will run my 16.8s against a dewalt 18 any day!! I have dropped mine off roofs, ladders, and used it in the rain, the only problem I have is my chuck got wet and froze from rust, butr a little WD40 and I was back in business!!!
I was also told by a dewalt vendor that they won't warranty them if you use them on a commercial basis. dunno if it is true, as I have never owned one myself.
