I am working with a utility/site contractor in Connecticut that is considering the purchase of a Vactor hydro-excavator for use in utility locating & other applications. An entry into this market would require us to hire a lead man/supervisor type with experience in locating & vacuum excavation & a driver/laborer.
I am looking for any advice regarding what type of compensation would be required for such a crew & where we might go to find them ? Also, any other insight regarding this type of venture would be very helpful. I have found the underspace.com site to be of some help. Thanks!
