one BIG problem with feed thrus is the dissimiliar metals causing
a "mixer effect" which will cause CPD (common path distortion)
which is essentially "beats" in the return spectrum
pin connectors are made to minimize this effect
in an NTSC system the beats will be 6mhz apart
