thanks buffalo for your insight i know hard to say yes or no to most questions. just a little info on the system ...system was built 10years ago with .625 feeder with the feed thru conn. guess they were saving money they did however install heat shrink. When things go wrong in the system now with the feeder we change out the tap with a pin type connector.
Still think of making node sizes around 4mi. and install fiber. just wondering if we should resplice all the feeder or see if it works with out re splicing. From the response i have been getting its flip a coin. Question: Would you like to be the teck oncall to have to responsed to reverse problems knowing there are feed thru conn. or due the certs.
