Good Morning All,I would like to hear some opinions on the Navy Sub colliding with the Japanese,fishing vessel.Here is mine.I think that the US is so busy trying to put blame on some one, that they have missed, what has really happened here.Major Question???? How the "HELL", did they not see this ship on radar???? Answer,A CLOAKING device that made it invisible to Radar.If this "SHIP" did not contain something other than fishermen,"WHY???" would the Japanese want it raised.The dead are dead.Many have been lost at sea.I can only hope someone in Government would also ask this QUESTION!! A second Question,On TV this morning they release statements that the sub was spotted on Sonar not Radar,one hour,prior to the collision,the seem to me,to be trying to blame the man that failed to plot the ships course.My Ouestion is if it was on sonar 1hr.earlier,why wasn't it on sonar before,before impact???? Home with the flu, sorry to hear about Wayne, a good man, and yes he always did get the job done, I had cut the end of my thumb off and it had been about a week when I ran into Wayne, he said Doug let mw take a look at it, well I stuck out my thumb and he grabs it and rips the scab off, well I had cut threw a vien so when he ripped the scab off blood started squirting everywhere, I chased him around that motel room with that thumb, got blood all over that hawian shirt of his,all he did was laugh, Wayne hired me with ASI, my brother brought me over to his house, we walked out to that pole by his trash cans , he threw me a pair of hooks and said "climb", simple as that, I'm sorry to hear of his passing, they don't make em like that anymore, at least theres someone up there to keep Ricky in line, I can just see those two togeather again.

Hey Doug, I see you are alive and kicking. How are you liking life after W.M.C.? I spliced for you some last summer then you left for greener pastures. Heard from John Bell this winter, we went skiing up at Squaw. Me I am out of cable for a good while. I'm going to have some pretty major surgery on my chest. Doctor said I had better quit climbing poles for awhile lest I kill myself. Don't want to end up like, Wayne! Going just about crazy waiting to get into the operating room. Anyway thanks for the instuction last summer, it made me a better splicer.

Anyways to answer some fo your questions here we go,.....How do I get all those GRAVY RUNS? Well you ought to know how if you asked me like so many of the other guys did. I would work while all the rest of you guys would be in bed or partying out somewhere, and get my run done before anyone would get up the next morning. When I walk in that office with my billing in hand before most of the guys showed up, I COULD ASK FOR THE GRAVY
