Hey Brother! Wasn't sure you wanted to claim me publicly man! LMAO!
Yes, I do agree with my bro. We need to get this forum back into shape!
I have tried to appologize and "let it go" as some have suggested. And I will try, try again.
Doesn't mean my feathers won't get ruffled again. But, I will try to not let that happen!
I would appreciate some curtisy from "certain ones"....and I will recipricate!
By the way spicerlife.......SweepTek isn't me.....LOL
It really is my brother. And I am really going to try to not respond negatively to your "replies, comments".
I would REALLY like to spend my time helping others or telling great Cable Vetran stories!
I think that's my Q to tell a good one..............

Well i once rode a powerdolly of a 180 ft. cliff to cross the ky. river had the lasher hooked to my belt on one side, a winch line on the other. the reason for this insaity was had to reload the lasher about 300 ft. from the other side

Once upon a Cable Day! There was a cable guy makin his rounds under the clear Montana Big Sky!
When he knocked on a customers door to install the cable. A beautiful woman came to the door invite me to the table.
I stumbled inside to get a full view!
She looked at me once, she looked at me twice.....Then she smiled and said, you look very nice! =)
I hooked up her cable as quick as I was able.
As I continued to stare at her beautiful long brown hair and her big brown eyes.......
I realized I could tell her no lies!
I quickly asked her out for a lunch date for I knew she was my soul mate!
Now I told her that I was a cable man for life!
But I would be honored if she would be my wife!
We will be celebrating our 8 yr anniversary June!
SOOooOOO all you cable dawgs won't you stay tuned?

For those of us who have been in this business for years and who stay in this business not only because of the money but we love it,have all had to do the battle for our retainage. It seems that some of these primes think that if they just wait you out that you'll forget that they owe you money worked very hard for.To add a few Prime contractors to this list, when you accept pricing from Cable Constructors Inc. or Mich com. or Cable Com , subtract 10% from that and that is what you can expect to get paid.

Riverratpat......it's been a delima for quite a long time!
I would say that it's time we group together and find a "Cabledawg Lawyer" to take care of our lite weight!
Whatcha think all???????

the onley way to stop em is to stop leting them get away w/ it.
you guys need to let a lawyer look at your contracts.
A good lawyer wont charge more then a few bucks to do so.
And if you are having trouble w/ a company and retainage a call from a lawyer to the head dick
gets a check in the mail quick.
