The "traditional gift giving"!!!!!! It used to be a wonderful thing this gift giving! But, as time went on and "attitudes" began to form in the imperfect human! Gift giving became a chore! Why is this???? Human's began to "expect" this gift of love/friendship! Not only expecting but demanding!!!!!!! This make the gift giving no longer a pleasure but a "forgotten" misstake amoungst these demanding "friends"..... Have those demanding ones forgotten the true reason "gift giving" exsistes???? Give a gift from your heart out of "want" not demand! AND "there is more pleasure in giving than there is in receiving"!
So those of you that feel that RECEIVING gifts is a "RIGHT" you need to do some serious soul searching!!!!!!

I dont think it's the demanding (as you so eliquently put it),one's who have forgotten. You Mark, as an employer yourself, should know that gift giving is,from the employer, a sincere thanks to the men and women of their employ,for all that has been done on the employee's part, to keep the employer's buisness's up,and running and dare we say it, keep the employer's in their $250,000 homes and driving $35,000 cars/trucks. A chore Mark? More like grattitude to me. And the employees aren't off the hook either. What about when they drag their personal lives into the workplace and the employer has to deal with no shows and tardyness and ungratefulness from the same employee as the one he owes something to? Those employees owe a certain amount of respect also,seeing how the employee is kept alive from the money that they earn from the employer. And thats all I got to say about that.

No! I do not live in a 250,000 home or drive a 35,000 car.
No! I am not a not an employer...even though I do own my own company. I employee myself at this time! Why??? Because of "attutude's" from past employee's like the one you are dispaying now!
NO! I do not feel that "ANYONE" employer or employee "OWE's" anything to each other accept the "Honest day's pay for an honest day's wage"!!!
You sir are definately one that I would put into the catigory of needing to "DO SOME SERIOUS SOUL SEARCHING" if you are really telling me and everyone else that "ANYONE" "OWES" you a gift!!!!!!
AND that's probably NOT all I have to say about it because I just can't keep my darn mouth shut!!! LOL

Mark dude,lol@mouth shut!!! Dude, you need to re-read what I wrote. I dont believe that I said ANYTHING about anybody OWEING me ANYTHING. As a matter of fact, I'm POSITIVE I didn't say that! We are talking employers and employees having respect for one another, that respect being translated into a Christmas gift or 'bonus' if you will. Yes I DO believe that the employer owes his/her employees respect, and vice-versa. When respect is lost between employers and employees, 1 of the 2, f not both, lose. Is this the reason you dont have employees? You think you dont have to respect them? You dont respect the MSO tha you 'sweep' for? Come on dude, face the fact...employers need to respect their employees and the employees need to respect their employers. I would never work for somebody I didn't respect! Don't think we will be working togeather dude!

This all came from my wet cement comment not directed at anyone in paticular.
I won't lower myself to your immature "name calling" game!
But, I will say that I only respect an employee that "give's an honest day's pay for an honest day's work"! As I said before!
I do not employee anyone because I have found "none" that could meet my "very high" expectations!!!!!
You as being first on the list! ANd that comment would be also directed at any and all other's that chose to give me a hard time or negative attitude for my "honest" comment that was not derogitory in any manner!
OBVIOUSLY, the one's having a very bad reaction to my comment are the VERY ONE's that have the problem!!!!!!
