Biweekly, Hourly rate to be determined based on experience and tools, Health benefits and 401(k) available after a probationary period for full-time employees.
Qualifications
OSHA 10 Certification (or ability to complete within first 180 days of employment with the company); must have a valid and current CDL license; 2-5 years of directional drilling experience; and 2 years technical college degree and/or Bachelor's degree is preferred (but not required)
Other Requirements
Must have a valid driver's license.
Job Description
Directional Drill/Bore Machine Operator will be primarily responsible for setup and completion of drilling variable sized underground holes and pulling back required conduit. Drilling Operator will work with the Outside Plant Supervisor, the Locator and the Laborers to complete job requirements from start to finish on outside plant projects including digging boring pits, directional boring, pulling back of conduit, pulling fiber through conduit, setting hand holes, backfilling and seeding, core drilling and pot holing, building penetrations and close out pictures and redlines. Directional drill machine may be available or use yours!
