Re: Need advice on pulling cable in conduit

Is it safe to trust that you had intermediate pull points located at least within every 1,200' pull? If not I certainly hope that you weren't pulling it for any Telco because you just bought yourself some fiber. Their BelCore spec is not to exceed 600lb. Chart Recorded Tinsel Strength at 1,200' intervals where no more than an accumulated 90 degrees of sweep exist (Riser excluded if able to figure eight it out).

In the (My) cable telecommunications world my spec's are more rigorus than that of our company just to ensure survivability. We use the same BelCore spec (Risers excluded) but shorter pull lengths (750'-1,000').

Second - If you're pulling an 11,000' pull, what's the OD of your conduit, 24" or so?

Something's wrong here folks......
