Overland Contracting Inc., a division of Black & Veach (a huge, deep-pocket corporation) established O.C.I. as a prime contractor along with the other half dozen or so independent primes they had under contract. I was the first subcontractor hired by this division of Black & Veach's cable construction operation. I have been working for them for almost a year now, and I have always been paid on time and in full. I have always had work for all my splicers (as many as fourteen), and I have always had an open line of communication to resolve what problems might arise - as they will on ANY job. Therefore, I tell those of you who are contemplating working for O.C.I., they are as good a company as you will find anywhere in this industry.
