Here you are correct, Many business's provide services for in-kind services later as a means of reducing cash flow but receiving goods in the old days they called it bartering, You know ill trade you 2 hens and a cow for your horse. With a restaurant's or hotel this could be a means of receiving services for company meeting or so on.
