I agree. I have worked for companies that change rates with out notification. What would the contract company do if they got there check and it was 40% less and then the mso says oh we are sorry but our rates have been cut. The last company I worked for Fantastic I gave 6 weeks to get my check strait. They are still in the hole to me for about $8000. They will be sued. I can have a pretty piece of paper to hang on the wall. And I am sure the other companies are going to say "If you did good work you would get paid" Yea; write; that's why they wont return my phone calls and e-mails and when I do get a hold of them they promise to make it write. Then they expect references. From who the company that screwed me last time or the time before. When I use references I have to use Comcast from when I was in house. How about this you go out of town to work, nothing wrong with this but when you get there they want you to go out of town again for one job. Oh you go do this reconnect for $6 and buy the way it is only 45 minutes north of here. Can you say NOT! I have only worked for 4 different contract companies but they have all been bad experiences, especially with money. I am asking the same thing this guy is. Is their any decent companies out there that pay on time and decent wages. I think I am going back in house, at least I knew I was going to get my check and I had a future.
