I agree. Having spent 32years in the industry, mostly on the MSO side, it would be dangerous to move in to union control is this current market place. We (all sides) are going through a downturn, like those in the 80's. MSO thinking from the inside is keep thier jobs as well. Most MSO's are under the microscope for accounting practicies. Most of the installation and construction managers are trying to hold on to their jobs during this time. The only way they can do that is to cut costs so they can meet the insane goals their bosses set for Wall Street. Nobody wins on this one. Unions would take what ever free capital you have, and do nothing with it other than to fund their activities. My suggestion would be to hang in there, as soon as Adelphia and the Comcast deals settle, things will pick up..
