well, you're not the only one in that situation, but i don't think i would recommend the DSS industry. What from i've seen, you probably won't be able to survive on what it pays.
I did it several yrs ago as a rainy day, supplemental income type thing. It did bring in some income when things were slow, but i would hate to think i would have to depend on it for an income.
