Mr. White, I am interested, but what level of Tech are you seeking and what type of company are you? I would consider an in-house position with a contractor, not with a cable service provider. I am a Splicer/Sweep Tech with twenty years experience, which includes, but not limited to
locating, mappping, designing, permitting, financing and building nine small cable systems of my own. Two of which I kept for myself. I have built cable from the towers, dishes, and head-ends to the back of the converters on top of the televisions. Today my primary interests are with Sweep and Certifications, with an interest in CLI testing. Not that I necessarily am committed to this particular side of the business but that is where the money has been most lucrative for me. Last year I averaged twelve thousand dollars per month and spent three of those months on an island on the Pacific Rim. If there is contract sweep available with the position you are attempting to fill and I can continue to make the money my experience affords me then I want to forward a resume to you.
