The Toshiba satellite line has a touchpad but the RAM only goes up to 512 RAM 2 DIMMS (256+256). It seems the Toshiba has a much better case and i've been hearing alot of negative stuff about Dell's cases (loose fit, CDrom catches on the chassis when closing etc...etc)
