Re:What is "Virtual Splicing"??


Virtual splicing in upgrade refers to having an existing area that is to be serviced by a node being retro-spliced without light using a temporary amp for the node location.  This is fine until you encounter situations where existing trunk or express has to be left active in order to keep the downstream RF working.
