Re:870MHz S-A need answers

Interesting that so many people have so many ideas, about something so simple. When in any type of gear did you ever pad the individual legs and or a rev, input slot to try and "Mimick" the fwd loss....Survey says NEVER.  Someone said modem manufactures want you to rail their modems out, or run them out full blast???? I doubt that if the modem is running out full blast it has no margin of correction left. Modems vary their outputs for several reasons, but they should never ever have to run out at full blast. Some of you have interesting ideas about cable, pad for ingress, I have done ingress suppression and it has never entailed increasing pad values. If ingress is a problem then find and correct the source. Thanks for the interesting reading, and letting me know that there is still plenty of job security about....P.S. just pad the out put leg on the rev of those amps, the input pad is a 0. and the individual legs are 0's.
