Like I said unions, protect those with tenure, not motivation. You are wrong about threatning an union employee. You could but he would file a grievence, claim hostle work enviroment etc etc. You'd be the on who was fired in the end. Seen it happen. If your wages were no higher than that, then whomever was negotiating your contracts was pretty weak. All in all I say the time for unions has passed. One can argue either side equally well however...
