I agree that density, u/g, aerial, mdu's should all be taken into consideration for pricing. However, $75/mi for mapping is NOT a fair price for mapping, even rural strand. A FAIR price for mapping is as follows: Strand- $110-135, AS-BUILT aerial front 120-150/mi, ug front $130-170/mi, aerial rear $140-180/mi, ug rear $160-220/mi. PLUS $30/hr for underground locates, or $10/road xing. In extremely dense areas $1-$2/address for mdu's. THESE ARE FAIR PRICES!! I've worked for more and I've worked for less.
