Ok...MERs Modulation error rate. If your are having trouble and the MER testing is constantly failing, go back to the upconverter in the digital headend and check at that location. I have done testing on units...which will remain nameless...and they constanlty fail above 700 MHz. If your unsure about how to use the unit...go to the actrena web site ...there is some good tech papers there plus www.hukk.com..excellent site...or email me at (-REDACTED-)

I have a bunch of work tracking down and trying to fix these. You can sweep a span a cable, come up with a 2.4 p/v and the damned mers will fail.
