Who Knows MERS????

I know this sounds stupid but here goes... I am using a sda 5000 with the digital function. Does anyone have any information about MERS??? I have a bunch of work tracking down and trying to fix these. You can sweep a span a cable, come up with a 2.4 p/v and the damned mers will fail. I know it is tied in with bit error rates, and packet loss and that but if anyone can offer me some real info please email me at (-REDACTED-) thanks
